Teachers across Glasgow are set to walk out today amid a pay dispute between unions and Glasgow City Council.
A letter has been sent to all families from Douglas Hutchison, executive director of education, explaining the impact the strike will have on schools as well as announcing further strikes planned for the new year.He said: "The impact of the strike on our primary, secondary and ASL schools will vary across the city and will mean that schools will take their own decisions on what they will be able to deliver depending on how many staff will report to work that day.
