A Glasgow teen has urged the Tech Secretary, Peter Kyle, to do more to protect young people on the internet.
After the visit, VoOY launched their manifesto for change, which stated the importance of having better privacy for and safety on tech platforms for children and details the harmful impact of online adverts. Speaking after the visit, Technology Secretary Peter Kyle said: “I loved meeting the NSPCC’s Voice of Online Youth group this week and having a frank and lively discussion about how we make the online world work for young people.
Better regulation of emerging AI is a priority for the young people.
