One person described the incident as a 'horrible experience'
go-ers in Glasgow were forced to leave their seats mid-performance last night as fire crews responded to an alarm.
It is understood that two fire engines raced to the Pavilion Theatre as an evening performance of the Magical Adventures of Aladdin, starring River City stars Stephen Purdon and Scott Fletcher, was paused to allow audience members to evacuate the building.later posted a photo of crowds gathered outside the Renfield Street theatre as investigations were carried out."It was a horrible experience. Glad everyone was ok and got back in to see the rest of the panto.
Another added:"Hope everyone is ok but how scary for families trying to evacuate not knowing what was happening.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has since confirmed that the incident was due to a false alarm.
