Glasgow train services were left disrupted after a person was struck by a train last night.Due to this, services between Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh via Falkirk High faced being cancelled, delayed, or revised.The travel firm said services returned to normal shortly after 11pm.

A statement from National Rail said:"Service has returned to normal between Croy and Falkirk High/Larbert following the earlier incident where a person was hit by a train." A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Falkirk at around 9.18pm yesterday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.“The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal.”You can contact the Samaritans 24 hours a day, seven days a week via telephone on 116 123 or text: 07725 90 90 90.
