Environmental health officers carried out an unplanned inspection.

A popular venue in Glasgow's west end has been forced to close after a mouse infestation was uncovered by environmental health officers.

The infestation was uncovered by the officers who then ordered the company to sort the issue out in the interests of public safety. Another message appears to instruct staff that the "official party line" is that the business was "shut for refurbishment". Staff who were due to work over the weekend have been left out of pocket and contacted the workers' rights group Better Than Zero.
