A yellow weather warning has been issued for thunderstorms for Glasgow today.
The Met Office has implemented the warning for the Glasgow and wider Strathclyde area from 1pm until 9pm on Monday, May 6.
Due to the weather, spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions, road closures, transport delays, and a slight chance of power cuts."Bright spells and scattered heavy showers in the afternoon, mainly across southern Argyll, Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
