The payment will be split into three instalments
The dates for the first instalment of the cost-of-living payment has officially been announced by the UK Government.
READ MORE: Lewis Capaldi is raw and emotional in new documentary which open doors for taboo discussions In addition to the three payments, a further cash boost worth £150 will be given to eligible disabled people and £300 for pensioners due later this year, meaning the most vulnerable can receive up to £1,350 in direct payments.
Commenting, Julie Murphy team lead for advice.scot, said: "The first cost-of-living payment of £301 will provide welcome support for people on low incomes across Scotland.
