Now, a recent report has revealed that the movie will begin filming later this year.Earlier, Glen Powell said that he would be balancing shooting the Edgar Wright-helmed The Running Man remake alongside his ongoing degree at the University of Texas.
“So I’m going to be in London, but I am going to be going back for proctored exams. So, they’re letting me figure it out distance learning. Edgar has been very nice about letting me finish my degree in the middle of his massive movie,” he added. Through his statements, fans deduced that the filming process for the project could begin in the fall. Now, The Wrap’s report puts these speculations to rest.At the time of writing, an official release date for The Running Man reboot has yet to be announced. Nevertheless, the November filming schedule suggests that the movie could come out sometime in 2026 if not late 2025.
