Actor Glen Powell met his lookalike, Max Braunstein, on the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globes. Braunstein won a local contest in Austin, Texas, with the help of Powell's mother. They also posed for photos with another lookalike, Miles Mitchell, who won a Timothee Chalamet lookalike contest.
Glen Powell had the chance to meet his very own lookalike on the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globes . Max Braunstein , who also hails from Powell's hometown of Austin, Texas, was crowned the winner of a local Austin contest with the help of Powell's own mother back in November. Braunstein got to speak with Powell over Facetime after the win, but the star and his lookalike got to meet in person on the Golden Globes red carpet (via E! X).
Powell gave Braunstein a hug as they posed for selfies and the actor brought over his mom for a quick chat. Braunstein also hit the red carpet with another lookalike - Miles Mitchell - who won a Timothee Chalamet lookalike contest in New York City back in October. Mitchell also reunited on the red carpet with Chalamet, who, like Powell, is up for a Golden Globe on Sunday night. Braunstein's win happened in November at Austin's Auditorium Shores, as hundreds gathered to crown the winner Braunstein, a phsyician's assistant in Austin. Braunstein's prize was $5, a cowboy hat and free queso from local restaurant Torchy's for a full year. He admitted, 'I did tell people I was going to win. I did mention that to my friends that sent it to me.' He also hopped on a Facetime call with Powell himself, when he told the real Powell, 'Blessed that your mother thinks I'm anything like ya.' The actor also promised in a video before the contest that any family member of their choice will get a cameo in an upcoming movie, since Powell's own parents have cameos in all his movie
