Glencairn hope to reach the Scottish Cup first round for the first time ever
Rutherglen Glencairn boss Joe Pryce hopes steering his side to the Scottish Cup first round will help repay some of the hard work done behind the scenes at the West of Scotland First Division club.
“It’s a huge game for us,” said Pryce. “It’s the one we’ve been looking forward to since the start of the season, a big game, and hopefully we can get the club into the first round proper. “Hutchie Vale are a good side, we know it’s going to be a really tough game and we will have to be at our very best if we’re to have any chance of getting through.Pryce knows he will have to disappoint players who want to play in the second preliminary round clash at the Hamish B. Allan Stadium, but says the whole squad is united.“Success for us is getting to the first round proper, and anything else after that would be a bonus.
