Glentoran have appointed former Bohemians and Derry City boss Declan Devine as caretaker manager until the end of the season.
Devine, himself, left Bohemians last Sunday following their slow start to the League of Ireland campaign.As a player, Devine's two seasons at Glentoran included helping the club win the Irish Cup in 1996. Bohs also reached the FAI Cup final last season where they were defeated by St Patrick's Athletic but the Dublin club opted to part company with the Derryman last weekend after the home defeat by League of Ireland leaders Shelbourne.
Last Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Loughgall dropped the Glens to fifth spot in the Irish Premiership table and they are 24 points behind leaders Larne.
