Colin Davidson will run the distance between The Oval and Taylors Avenue ahead of Saturday's Irish Premiership game

Over the last few years Colin has completed a number of sponsored walks starting firstly from his home in Newtownabbey before switching to The Oval for the trek to Carrick Rangers' Taylors Avenue to coincide with the Glens game there.

"I have done a number of sponsored walks for several different charities /GFC Academy/Ulster Hospital Maternity Unit/The Larder Foodbank beside The Oval) to the Glens matches in Carrick. "Coastal runs can always be tricky if the wind is strong but hopefully if it’s windy it’s in my favour. I’m hoping to compete in just under two hours but not really too sure."
