Glentoran travel to Crusaders on Friday night in their latest Premiership acid test

Glentoran captain Marcus Kane insists the squad are "fully committed" to Declan Devine's Oval blueprint as the club prepares for another acid test in the Irish Premiership.

Former Derry City and Bohemians boss Devine was appointed permanent Glentoran manager in April after a brief caretaker spell on Mersey Street. “We’ve got a fantastic group of players, and while we know the results haven’t always gone our way, the spirit in the dressing room remains incredibly strong. We’re determined to turn performances into points and start climbing the table.”

“Friday night games always have something special about them, and the fact it’s Friday the 13th, under the lights, against strong opposition, adds an extra edge to the occasion," he said.
