Global dividend payouts pass the £1trillion mark but pace of growth is slowest in three years
Global dividends rose 3.5% in 2019 to hit a new record high of $1.43tr . The US, Japan and emerging markets saw the fastest growth in divi payouts. The UK and Europe lagged behind the global average.
