UK heatwave: Gloucestershire & Northants shorten Tuesday's play because of temperatures
The decision to alter the timings of play has been agreed by all relevant sides, and made in line with England and Wales Cricket Board guidance
Gloucestershire, whose game with Hampshire forms part of the 150th anniversary edition of the Cheltenham Cricket Festival, said the decision to alter the playing hours on Tuesday had been taken "in line with advice" from the England and Wales Cricket Board. Meanwhile, the dress code for the Lord's pavilion will be relaxed for the opening day of Middlesex's home game against Sussex, so men do not have to wear jackets - they will still, though, have to wear ties or cravats.
