Susanna Reid returned to Good Morning Britain on Monday, September 2 after an extended break and was met with a mixed reception. The seasoned presenter, back on air following the summer recess, resumed her role beside Ed Balls in her first outing since July, sparking discussions about term-time holidays on this Monday's programme.
Another viewer pondered over the relaxed attitudes of past decades: "Ffs! How did my generation ever survive? We used to have holidays in term time, no strict uniform, and the general rules were far less strict. How did we manage to survive in the grown up world? ".
