Richard Madeley was back on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday and addressed a huge blunder he made live on air alongside Susanna Reid
Richard Madeley admitted "it's live television, these things happen" after an on-air mishap on Good Morning Britain .
In a conversation with Susanna Reid and journalists Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire, Richard queried: "I have to ask you. Did you spot my inadvertent slip of the tongue? About an hour ago when I was introducing Andi Peters? I didn't spot it!" In a light-hearted moment, Richard joked: "Well if you missed it, it's online now! I called Andi Peters as Andi with another word that starts with P and ends with an S," leading Kevin to encourage him to say it again.
Yesterday, Richard made his return to ITV, where he received a mixed reception regarding his reappearance on the show. "Not watching," expressed one viewer, while another commented: "Sorry I can't watch Madeley. I'm opting to go out and run in the dark/rain as the better option. Disappointed." A third remarked: "Richard Madeley co-presenting? No thanks @GMB."
