Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has spoken out about her home life as a single mum and how raising her three sons can be emotional in a new interview

TV presenter Susanna Reid has revealed how she feels about being single and bringing up her three sons in a new interview. The Good Morning Britain host is mum to Sam, 22, Finn, 20, and 18 year old Jack, from her previous 16 year relationship with former BBC sports journalist Dominic Cotton, and currently two of her boys live at home with her.

“I talk to people all day. I have a terrific team, and I love my close knit family. When the boys leave home, I know that’s going to be challenging.” So far it looks like they are content staying at home with her, as she added: “My youngest is about to finish school, so at every stage there’s going to be the last time. The last time I take him to school, the last time I pick him up from school, and that is quite an emotional feeling. I know lots of mums and dads feel like that.

Susanna may be happy being single, but last month dating guru Paul Brunson told OK! that she was the one person he would like to have appear on Celebs Go Dating. Paul has worked with celebrities including Vanessa Feltz and Chloe Burrows on previous series, but his ultimate guest would be Susanna: “I would love for us to have people on the show who ordinarily don’t show their private life. Someone like Susanna Reid would be great! She is someone who everyone holds in high esteem and everyone likes her, but no one really knows much about her private life. It’d be an honour to have Susanna on the show.

The GMB presenter may not be ready for the world of celebrity dating just yet, as she has managed to keep her private life private following her split from Dominic in 2014. She rarely talks about her personal life but she did open up about the fact that she never had a great desire to get married. She talked about her decision on Good Morning Britain in 2021: "It was a personal choice.
