Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid shared her heartbreak as she issued an update on the 'senseless' death of TV doctor Michael Mosley, after his body was found in Greece
The beloved TV doctor, known for his frequent contributions to ITV shows like This Morning, met with a tragic end on the Greek island of Symi. His body was discovered in a secluded area behind a wall and fence near the Agia Marina resort, having possibly strayed from a rocky path and succumbed to the intense heat or an unfortunate fall.
On Monday's episode of Good Morning Britain, a sombre Susanna reflected: "There is a huge outpouring of love and sadness over the death of Michael Mosley... People are absolutely gobsmacked on what on earth could possibly have happened. He was on this gorgeous Greek island, he'd been there before with his wife. He just leaves the beach to make his way to the accommodation - it just seems - everyone scratches their head.
Michael's wife Clare issued a devastating statement following the confirmation that he had passed away. She described him as an "adventurous" man, as she paid tribute to those on the island who had "worked tirelessly" to find him.
