Some bus services in Sunderland and in South Tyneside will run at increased frequencies.
The changes in South Tyneside and Sunderland take effect from SundayGo North East said it had increased the frequencies of buses serving Pennywell, Sunderland and Grangetown, while in South Tyneside it said new routes would run from Cotswolds Estate towards Jarrow.
Go North East said recent sub-zero temperatures had affected vehicle systems, including batteries and engines.Meanwhile, the operator announced a number of changes to services, which take effect on Sunday.The 61 and 62/A services will operate up to every 30 minutes between Pennywell, Sunderland and Grangetown.
