Senator Christopher Lawrence Go and his ‘Malasakit Team’ reached out to nearly a thousand displaced workers in Pasig City and provided them relief amid their recent struggles.
Go supported the initiative and commended DOLE for providing emergency employment and livelihood opportunities to those who have lost their jobs or sources of income due to various crises. Furthering his advocacy for improved living conditions for Filipino families, Go also co-authored and co-sponsored Senate Bill No. 2534, which seeks to increase the daily minimum wage by P100 nationwide.
