The diffuser has been reduced on Amazon and could help relax anxious dogs this October and November
As Halloween and Bonfire Night approach, many pet owners will be gearing up for some tough evenings in the coming weeks. Loud bangs from fireworks and frequent knocks at the door from trick-or-treaters dressed in strange costumes can cause some distress for our beloved dogs.
“It may be beneficial to install a diffuser which releases calming pheromones to minimise stress and create a safe and secure environment. Pheromones are invisible chemicals that pets use to communicate different messages with each other. A pheromone diffuser cleverly recreates messages that promote calmness in dogs.”
One said: “Godsend. These are a must every Bonfire Night and New Year certainly work for our old girlie." A second wrote: “I decided to try the Adaptil diffuser and found it was the answer to our prayers. No longer did he have panic attacks which lasted for hours. He was calm, relaxed and completely chilled out.”
Though as with many remedies, what works for one dog may not work for another, and one added: "Unfortunately it did not work for my French Bulldog. He still barked when being left alone. It may work for other dogs but sadly not mine."
