Much-loved TV watchers Mary Killen and Giles Wood on Gogglebox treated viewers to an adorable glimpse of their fluffy dog Merlin in Friday night's episode on Channel 4
Gogglebox stars Mary Killen and Giles Wood have been fan-favourites ever since they joined the Channel 4 show back in 2015, but it is their newest family member that has really won over viewers.
Giles was seen singing happy birthday to Merlin as the pooch cheekily stole his iconic armchair for a seat. Mary, who was sitting next to the dog, then jokingly told him: "He won't understand you." And this isn't the only surprise for Gogglebox fans recently as former show star Stephen Lustig-Webb revealed he is set to compete against the likes of Miles Nazaire and Amber Davies in the upcoming series of Dancing on Ice which returns in January.
" absolutely no rhythm and no balance," he said before the glitzy event and was accompanied to the awards by his husband of five years, Daniel Lustig-Webb. "I start training tomorrow. I'm already two espresso martinis in, I'm stopping now, two was enough!"
