EXCLUSIVE: My Mum, Your Dad star Mazey Edwards has revealed what it was like to see her dad find love on the ITV show and says that it was like the parenting 'roles were reversed'
My Mum, Your Dad star Mazey Edwards has opened up about what it was like to help her dad Paul find love on the ITV show and has joked that she’s now his “life coach” after providing him with relationship advice.
“The show definitely brought us closer together. We joke that the roles are still reversed - he’ll suggest we do something but I tell him we’re doing something else. I think he likes it - I do anyway,” she said. “Seeing my dad date on TV was so weird. I’d never even thought of the concept before, so seeing and helping him find love was bizarre. Also when I signed up, I didn’t know that I would be helping my dad find love - I didn’t realise I was the dating expert!,” she explained.
