Golfer In Gee Chun meets Lancaster Country Club employees helped by her foundation

In Gee Chun's foundation helps educate Lancaster Country Club employees.

When In Gee Chun won the 2015 U.S. Open at the Lancaster Country Club, she endeared herself to fans. But she didn't just wave goodbye to the community when she won the trophy.She established a relationship, setting up an education foundation that has awarded scholarships to about 100 Lancaster Country Club employees, including grounds and course staff.

' She said during the last championship here, she saw fireflies near the course and they inspired her to be light for others.The scholarships helped Nate Schell earn degrees in turf management and business administration from Penn State and West Chester.'The scholarship money helped a lot ease the strain of paying for an education and fueled his desire to continue in golf course maintenance and upkeep,' he said.
