Susanna Reid returned to host Good Morning Britain alongside Ed Balls today after being previously forced to miss the ITV show due to a family emergency.
On Tuesday, Ranvir Singh had to be called in to replace her ITV co-star, as the 53-year-old was absent from the programme.
Speaking to viewers at the start of Tuesday's show, Ranvir said: "If you're wondering where Susanna is, one of her boys has been taken ill overnight and she needed to stay with him, so we are here for you this morning." It wasn't long before viewers commented on her comeback, with many thrilled to see her back fronting the programme.Another commented: "Good to see you back this morning Susanna, hope everything's ok."Someone else said: "Hallelujah, hello Susanna my lady"
During her first show back, she was left slightly speechless as showbiz star Jimmy Tarbuck revealed what his sons refer to her as.
