I’ve been writing about video games, television and movies for Forbes for over 10 years, and you may have seen my reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I cover all manner of console and PC games, but if it’s about looting or shooting, I’m definitely there. If I’m watching something, it’s usually science fiction, horror or superheroic.
Marvel is moving ahead with introducing a new crew of X-Men into the MCU at last, something that will take place after the Multiverse saga ends with the 2026 Avengers movies, but it’s never too late to start thinking ahead.. You likely have not heard of him, but you may have seen his work, and there is some… good news and bad news in that catalogue.
But there’s some good news too! Lesslie’s last project is The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. That movie, which may have seemed like a too-late Hunger Games cash-in, is actually very good if you’re a fan of the series, so that would indicate to me that he has the potential to do right by the X-Men, in theory. He’s also writing the upcoming Now You See Me 3 magic heist movie.
