Actor Paul Sorvino, best known for starring in Goodfellas and police drama Law & Order sadly died this morning, his wife confirmed as she paid tribute to the 'love of her life'
The talented performer, best known for starring in the mobster flick Goodfellas, is thought to have died with his wife Dee Dee by his side on Monday morning.
Yet his most recognisable role, was his turn as mobster Paul Cicero in Martin Scorcese’s 1990 masterpiece Goodfellas. Following his passion, he attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York where he fell in love with theatre specifically, before kickstarting his career by walking the boards in Broadway musical Bajour back in 1964.
Appearing in a variety of films throughout the 70’s and 80s, Paul continued to carve a name for himself in the industry with roles in well received films such as A Touch of Glass and It Couldn't Happen To A Nicer Guy.
