The 'digital garage' provided help for charities and small businesses
Free digital skills workshops for charities were held recently at Whitlawburn Community Resource Centre.

Research has found that both businesses and job seekers would benefit from digital skills training, as just four per cent of small businesses feel they’re meeting their full potential on digital strategy, and only three per cent feel this for online sales and upskilling staff. Michael Shanks, helped organise the event alongside another for charities to access funding from the Postcode Lottery, said: “It was great to see so many new and growing small businesses take up the opportunity to receive training from Google’s Digital Coaches.
