The Co Meath trainer won six out of the seven races on the card on day one of the Ladbrokes Festival of Racing
Gordon Elliott dominated day one of the Ladbrokes Festival of Racing at Down Royal as he landed an incredible 300/1 six-timer.
Elliott has traditionally done well at the two-day meeting and was always likely to be among the winners on Friday as the saddled the favourite for all seven races. However, Better Days Ahead flopped in the first, but his second-string still landed the spoils with Jordan Gainford steering Zefiro Dodville home at odds of 12/1.
Elliott’s runners were out of luck in the fifth with the favourite Womalko and Pats Choice failing to land a blow against Don’t Go Yet in the 2M Handicap Chase.
