Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has served up his personal dining do's and don'ts, sharing insights on what he avoids when eating out.
Gordon advised: "Ask what yesterday's soup du jour was before today's special. It may be the case that it's the soup du month." Drawing from his own experiences, he shared: "It depends on the restaurant, but servers tend to taste most of the dishes on the menu and can give you insight into what the chef has added and what the locals have," thus securing some "great recommendations."
He also flagged the danger of an extensive list of specials, hinting that they might not be as fresh or exciting as they're made out to be.
