The celebrity chef took a trip down the Clyde
The Cove Coffee Shop took to social media to praise Gordon, calling him the 'friendliest man' to visit. The Hells Kitchen chef has been visiting Rangers for a reunion with his former club.
After rekindling his football memories, Gordon stopped off at The Cove for a bite to eat after hearing recommendations from the locals. While the cafe has kept the chef's order a secret, they posted a photo of him and the staff grinning outside the cafe that looks out onto the Firth of Clyde.Posting on Instagram, The Cove wrote: "Well…it’s not everyday @gordongram visits Gourock and today there was no @ramsaykitchennightmares to be seen.
Rangers legend Richard Gough snapped a pic with the 55-year old and posted on social media: "Up at Rangers FC training ground today and bumped into this legend. Good Fella." It is understood Gordon is back in Scotland as films a new TV show, Future Food Stars. And it sounds like he won't rest much as Gordon and his team are also searching for Scottish contestants to take part in another new contest called Next Level Chef.
From the top-level state of the art kitchen 'utopia' to the gloomy basement level 'scraps only' surroundings, Next Level Chef will task its chefs to prove they can thrive in any environment. The contestants will be under the watchful eyes of the panel across all three floors as they battle it out to produce the most mouth-watering dishes and avoid elimination.
