Gorka Marquez has been asked about his future on Strictly Come Dancing as he's set to return to the iconic ballroom this month. The dancer made his debut in the BBC One dance contest in 2016.
It was in 2017 that the 34-year-old met Gemma Atkinson as they both vied for the Glitterball trophy with different partners -with Hits Radio host Gemma paired with pro Aljaz Skorjanec while Gorka was partnered with singer and actress Alexandra Burke.Both couples made it to the final that year but whilst they didn't lift the Glitterball trophy, Gorka and Gemma did find love and went official with their romance in early 2018.
And the BBC has said that as the nation’s favourite dance show celebrates two spectacular decades of dance, this series promises to be extra special with even more glitz, glamour and unforgettable performances. Gorka, who recently celebrated his 34th birthday, was then quizzed on what he was doing when he was 20 and revealed his life was still filled with dance. He revealed: "I was living in Madrid. Dancing lots of hours every day to become the best dancer I could and dreaming of doing something like this."
