“It is a big day as we move forward from coal to natural gas. And we look forward to a future that is more efficient,” PowerSouth President and CEO Gary Smith said.“And PowerSouth is not just making a statement about plant operating efficiency. They continue to diversify their energy sources to benefit their customers, and we see that being done right here with Lowman,” Ivey said.
It’s heralded as one of the most efficient natural gas facilities currently operating in the country.“It’s always good to see the governor.
