The Illinois Governor confirmed President Biden is set to meet with Democratic governors on Wednesday while reiterating his support for the incumbent in a CNN interviewagainst former President Donald Trump last week, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker discussed Biden's candidacy in an appearance on CNN The Source with Kaitlan Collins.
Pritzker confirmed that Democratic governors were slated to meet with President Biden on Wednesday regarding his reelection campaign. However, when asked if he agreed with polls that indicate voters prefer a nominee other than Biden, Pritzker referenced his wish for the president to be more communicative.
Pritzker said he had not heard from any Democratic governors who were wishing for Biden to drop out following last week's debate and also said he had not heard from the president since the debate.
