Iconic scenes from the much-loved Wizard of Oz film will be brought to life inside the historic mansion
Scenes from the family favourite Wizard of Oz are being brought to life at a special event at Tatton Park this Christmas .
"As you wander through the beautifully decorated staterooms, each corner turned will reveal a new surprise, from the exciting adventure following the Yellow Brick Road to the sparkling Emerald City, all adorned in beautiful festive decorations," organisers say."Whether you're a fan of Dorothy, have a soft spot for the Scarecrow, or you're intrigued by the Wicked Witch, there's something here to capture the hearts of visitors of all ages.
Titled Journey to Oz: The Christmas Mansion, it runs on selected dates between November 23 and December 29. Tickets, costing £14.50 for adults and £10.50 for children, can be bought online. Under twos go free. An enchanting festive celebration, Yuletide offers 'a magical journey into wondrous stories, where folklore comes to life through intricate live puppets, mesmerising lights, spectacular fire juggling and more'.
