Graeme Souness believes Gareth Southgate isn't cut out for the Manchester United job. Erik ten Hag faces an increasingly uncertain future at Old Trafford, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe expected to make wholesale changes at Carrington at the end of the season.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Souness has backed Southgate continue his work at Wembley Stadium amid concerns that the Manchester United job could be too big for him. The Liverpool legend said: "This is a golden period for English football. I would stick with this group of players if I was Southgate.
