Police are treating two incidents at an apartment block in Belfast over the weekend as racially-motivated hate crimes.
Sergeant McHenry said: “Shortly before 10:50pm, it was reported that stones were thrown at an apartment block in the area. Damage was caused to a window during the incident. It was reported that as officers attended, masonry was thrown at a police vehicle during the incident. "Police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to these incidents, are asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1932 03/08/24. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
