Amanda Thorpe revealed that Graham had been suffering from depression and anxiety
The wife of former England batter, Graham Thorpe, has revealed that the cricketer took his own life after suffering with depression and anxiety. Earlier this month tributes were made to Thorpe after it was announced that the 55-year-old had sadly passed away.
His wife, Amanda, has now revealed in an emotional and candid interview with The Times that Thorpe attempted suicide two years ago before taking his own life earlier this month. “For the past couple of years, Graham had been suffering from major depression and anxiety. This led him to make a serious attempt on his life in May 2022, which resulted in a prolonged stay in an intensive care unit.
