Scots gran battles fly swarms and rodent infestation after 40 rotting bin bags dumped outside home

A Scots gran says she doesn't "feel like living anymore" after mountains of rotting bin bags were dumped outside her home.

The pensioner, who shares the property with her son as he recovers from a stroke, believes the problem is being caused by a neighbour storing rubbish inside their own property. “My husband had just died and I thought they were coming off the flowers that folk were bringing round. But then I started noticing this disgusting smell. It was just everywhere and was absolutely horrendous.

Elizabeth has reported the ongoing issue to the Wheatley Homes East housing association, who manage both properties. But matters peaked last week after 40 bags of rubbish appeared and the pensioner was forced to lay down mouse traps.
