Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials say Parker League’s death was “malicious,” but they didn’t immediately release any details Wednesday.

MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. — A Maricopa County grand jury has indicted the suspect accused of killing and dismembering an 18-year-old last summer in the Tonto National Forest.

Ruinard was arrested last July but the Maricopa County Attorney's Office announced Friday that the suspect has recently been indicted for second-degree murder and abandoning a dead body after prosecutors spent months reviewing the large case file. A blood stain allegedly found in the trunk of the suspect's vehicle tested positive for League's DNA, officials said at the time of Ruinard's arrest.
