According to a message from the superintendent, district officials previously received reports of the inappropriate behavior and immediately placed the employee on administrative leave. CPS reopened the investigation, and the teacher was placed on leave again pending the outcome of the additional investigation. “We take these matters very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation in accordance with District policies and procedures. This includes cooperating fully with CPS as a part of that agencies investigation,” the superintendent said.
