The operator of a ferry service linking Kent and Essex says it is not tenable to keep it running.
The impact of the loss of a long-running ferry service connecting Essex and Kent across the River Thames has been outlined in a report into its viability.
One respondent who has used the ferry for more than a decade to get to work said losing the service would be a "total disaster".Local Democracy Reporting Service. One respondent said: “Travelling to work would be so much more difficult, expensive and time consuming."KCC said it was trying to secure a sustainable long-term solution for the ferry.
