The show will not be aired tonight on October 17
Paul Hollywood and the GBBO team returned on screens for the 14th series of the competition, which has once again seen wannabe bakers battle it out in the kitchen for ten weeks in the hope of impressing the judges with their baking skills and being crowned Star Baker.
Viewers will be disappointed to learn the show will not be aired tonight, October 17, as instead in its place will be the football. England will be taking on Italy at Wembley Stadium live from 7pm until 10pm. The British Bake Off official social media account previously took to X, formerly Twitter, to say "Welcome to Chocolate Week", which left many fans excited. One person said: "Looking forward to it."
