See individual runner results for the 2024 Manchester 10k race and half marathon
Tens of thousands of runner have taken part in the 2024 AJ Bell Great Manchester Run. The huge running event includes one of Europe's biggest 10km races as well as a half marathon.
The elite wheelchair 10km was the first race to start at 8.15am followined by the half marathon waves. The 10km waves then set off later in the morning and early afternoon. The 10k and half marathon course took two different routes - with the half marathon an extra 6.9 miles.As with previous years, the 10k route began on Portland Street just near the junction with Oxford Road, and continued down onto the A56 towards Old Trafford - taking in Manchester United’s ground and other sites opposite Salford Quays before heading towards Deansgate and the finish line.
