A weather warning for heavy rain is in place across much of Greater Glasgow this morning and is expected to remain in place until 9pm tonight, according to the Met Office.
August's weather is off to a ropey start with Greater Glasgow in the midst of a warning for rain with strong winds also impacting the region.
