The farm shop said it has ‘become near impossible’ to respond to the number of queries it has received
An award-winning dairy farmer with a popular farm shop in Bolton has issued a statement after receiving an ‘abundance’ of concerned messages.

Milk Maids, based at Deardens Farm in Westhoughton, said it has ‘become near impossible’ to respond to all the queries.
“Bovaer has never been added to our cows feed & never will, we believe there’s plenty other ways to reduce our carbon emissions both as individuals and from a farming point of view. Having served its own ice cream on site since 2016, which sells a range of waffles, cones, and milkshakes, their flavours include the likes of Manchester Tart, Cookies and Cream, Lotus Biscoff, Lemon Sorbet, Strawberry Cheesecake and Mint Chocolate Chip, as well as a range of festive specials including Advocaat, Mince Pie, and Baileys.
