Greater Manchester Thursday forecast as yellow weather warning issued
Greater Manchester will be hit with heavy showers on Thursday , with the region covered by a yellow weather warning.
The Met Office has issued the alert for heavy rain, which will be in place from midnight until 11.59pm - lasting the entire day. Every borough will experience strong downpours with temperatures staying below double figures. The alert also covers parts of Yorkshire, Cumbria, Scotland and the south. There is a 'small chance' that the heavy rain could lead to flooding, with disruption on some roads and public transport expected.Most of the heavy showers should have stopped falling from around 5pm in most places, with light showers to follow.
