More sun could be around the corner but heavy rain and wind is forecast first
Another week of glorious sunshine could be on the cards for Greater Manchester. Forecasters have hinted that an Indian summer is on the horizon, however, the region must face a period of heavy rain and wind before temperatures rise again.
According to The Met Office, the forecast for the next couple of days predicts sunny spells with outbreaks of rain. Temperatures will rise to around 20C on Friday, the skies will be a little bit clearer and the sun is set to make an appearance but only for a short while. The weekend won't fair much better as the grey skies and rain are set to carry on.
