Is was a frosty start for many on Saturday morning. Is winter finally here?
With much of Greater Manchester waking up to a frost on Saturday, it was probably the first time many of us put the heating on this winter. It's been a wet but pretty mild November so far, which, with energy bills still sky high, is good news for the bank balance.
The Met Office is forecasting that next week will actually get warmer, with temperatures set to reach a relatively balmy 12C on Monday and Tuesday. It also looks set to be another wet one, with rain forecast until every day through to Thursday, and heavy showers set for Monday.READ MORE: Manchester Arndale market remains closed after fire at food stall
"Strong winds with possible coastal gales overnight but easing through Tuesday. Blustery showers expected throughout."
